Just Click Networks

Phone addiction, compulsive checking, and behavioral interruption.
Introduction

I started using Just Click Networks as an interim replacement for mobile phone addiction and compulsive online behavior.

I had a high usage of:

  • TikTok doomscrolling
  • compulsive web searching
  • compulsive researching
  • repetitive phone checking

At a certain point, the behavior stopped feeling intentional.

I would automatically:

  • unlock my phone
  • check notifications
  • open apps repeatedly
  • endlessly scroll
  • search random things online
The Experiment

Instead of trying to completely stop using my phone, I experimented with low-stimulation replacement websites.

The goal was not productivity.

The goal was behavioral decompression.

Over the first 48 hours I used:

  • justclickthis.site
  • justscrollthis.site
  • justsearchthis.site
  • Pointless AI
ERP and Compulsive Phone Checking

Within approximately 72 hours, I developed enough awareness to begin identifying and interrupting my urges to constantly check my phone.

I then began implementing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) techniques commonly associated with compulsive behavioral patterns.

  • hold my phone
  • look at the screen
  • check the time
  • allow the urge
  • not unlock the device
The Final Boss

The final remaining compulsion was text messaging and the repeated urge to constantly pick up and check my phone.

The behavior became similar to how a person with OCD may repeatedly check whether a stove was left on, even after already knowing it was off.

Over time, my total app usage dropped from several hours per day to roughly 30–40 minutes.
